| Brushless
Motor set up became the standard motor system for RC Drifting.
The best thing of using brushless
technology is that it fuses power and efficiency. Unlike the old
brushed set up you have to keep maintaining the brush to get the
power out of the motor.
The advantages of using a brushless
motor is zero maintenance and providing users with ample power
and torque. It means constant power for big sweeper and longer run
times.
The most common brushless system set
up used for rc drifting is the Novak system. There is a few other
brands that also provides efficiency and power for drifting.
Novak sport basic chart - lower
turn means more speed and higher turn means more torque.
8.5 / SS5800 (5,000kV) =
13-turn
10.5 / SS4300 (4,200kV) = 19-turn
